Introduce yourself
Hi all,
I've been putting some deep thought into this. I'm going to make an effort to upload every day but my blogs are solely going to be about Slimming World/my food diary and daily activities. To some of you, this is sheer pain and you'd rather be stick pins into your eyeballs, others will enjoy it.
A little about me
I'm 25 years old and live in Norfolk, UK. So every now and then you will see the country side posted into my blog. I work full time (Mon-Fri) and sit behind a desk for 9 hours a day. I'm signed up to a gym, Nuffield, however, it gets ridiculously busy at peaks times and this puts me off especially after having a hectic day in the office.
I started Slimming World back in 2013 and didn't succeed very well. The first week I lost 5bs but by the end of it, I was around 9lbs heavier! I just didn't think it was right for me. Thinking back, it might have been because I was living at home with mum, and every now and then I would go off plan because I was eating anything she would cook.So I quit, fed myself even more and then started Herbalife. I lost sooo much weight on Herbalife but the long term benefits were no good.
Now I've moved into my own place I feel like I ready to smack Slimming world in the face and start all over again. I still have my old/original book, whether or not it's still a thing, this book was my saviour. It has everything you need to know in it.
Slimming World consists of 4 categories
- Healthy A (weighed Milk OR Cheese)
2.Healthy B (Weighed Bread, Cereal, Soup, Nuts&seed, Dried, Canned and Cooked fruit) - Free foods/Super foods
- Syns (5-15 a day)
As I'm not in the Slimming World classes, I just google everything and add 'Slimming World' on the end of my search. There's nothing Google won't tell you these days!
So, tomorrow will be my first official upload of my daily diary. Throughout my uploads. I will make sure I add links which help me out, recipes and progress photos.
Please feel free to ask questions, I will try my hardest to get you an answer :)
