Hello! My name is Mei and at the encouragement of a near and dear one, I signed up with Steemit umpteen months ago. I have not posted anything because I am required to write a piece to introduce myself and I dread that I have not much to say about my uninteresting self.
However, as they say that it's now or never, so here goes..
I opted for early retirement and now spend a couple of months each year away from home to be with my precious grandson. We live some 15,000km apart and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to witness some of his physical and cognitive developmental milestones. He loves trains and PACMAN. Wants to be a train driver when he grows up. Spends happy hours drawing, colouring and cutting out PACMAN and his 'ghostses'. His favourite phrase now is ' Hands in the air. Like you just don't care'.
I used to do a bit of travelling and enjoyed the food, weather and various local attractions. I intend to share some of my travel experiences, food recipes and trivial stories.
