My name is Kim, 35y old, I’m a Cambodian, born in Thailand and live in the Netherlands. I’m enjoying my life with my two kids and a lovely husband who also seems to be a huge food lover.
We both have a great passion for food, that’s why we also love to cook (together). Everything that’s delicious we always try it out, making the dish at home even when we have to try it out over and over again. We’ll try it until we reach the taste we like.
Read my username: NhamTe (speak out as: Nhaamtee), which means in Khmer (Cambodian language): “Do you want to eat?”. NhamTe is my own small business besides my daily job. I’m working at an eye hospital as an assistant of the eye doctor. Sometimes I get orders for making delicious food or snack for parties.
Besides my passion for cooking, I love the Cambodian traditional dance and culture. Both inspire me so much. That’s why I also teach Cambodian children, who also live in the Netherland, the traditional Khmer dance. I participate in an association called Cambodja-Nederland Vereniging. As we want to pass on our Khmer traditions to our next generation, we established this association.
My little sister, also a Steemian (@Bley47), told me about steemit a long time ago, but I never took the time to join. By all her stories and experience about steemit, I got curious. So here i am Steemians!
