Let me introduce myself...
My name is Miri and I am a 26 years old Hungarian girl who was diagnosed with Type1 Diabetes in November 2016. Since then I've tried many things in order to improve my disease and I’ve just found the way to improve it extraordinarily.
This diet is called a Low-Fat, Plant-Based, Whole-Food diet. This is a lifestyle that doesn’t only help people living with type 1 diabetes to improve their disease and reverse type 2 diabetes, but eating a plant-based diet has been linked to lower risk of obesity and many chronic diseases, such as heart disease, inflammation and cancer.
Since I started following this diet I feel super healthy, I'm full of energy, my insulin needs is lower than ever, I lost 16 pounds within 3 weeks (which totally blowed my mind), I reached my ideal weight that I’ve always dreamed of and last but not least, I can eat huge portions of food for each meal without feeling guilty and gaining weight. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for finding this diet. This is just incredible!
I am very passionate about this lifestyle and I can’t wait to show you how to become the Healthiest You ever!
I love preparing healthful, nutritious meals, developing new recipes and experimenting with different kind of ingredients and flavours. I'm going to be sharing low-fat, plant-based, whole-food recipes with photos I cook and prepare myself; useful tips and recommendations; as well as my own mental and physical development that plays a huge role in improving my diabetes, too.
I have a passion for helping others struggling with diabetes, insulin resistance, overweight, or who just want to live a healthy, happy life.
