Hi Steemit!
This is the first TeamSingapore IntroduceYourself post.
Since January this year, there are many new Steemians welcomed onto the platform. Many Singapore Steemians have also found each other, and connected through the #TeamSingapore hashtag. But there are definitely still many who have yet to find the Singapore community yet, and even more not even on Steemit. So that's where we come in to lend a helping hand!
I will outline a few main goals and purposes of this TeamSingapore account.
Build the #TeamSingapore Community, and connect members with one another
Central source of information and advice for new #TeamSingapore members
Curate and Upvote #TeamSingapore Members posts
Promote #Singapore hashtag, Singapore Tourism and Culture, etc.
Collaborating with other Steemit communities for projects
With future developments and increases in size of the community, other initiatives would also be welcome and we as a community can discuss about it when the time comes.
I have compiled a list of users who have used the TeamSingapore Hashtag within the past 2 months, so feel free to add each other if you did not know them earlier! Please tag other members of the Steemit Singapore community if I had left out anyone. Thank you!

All of the above proposed goals are still very much in the infancy stage. All of this is very new, so anything technical will require some research and learning on my end before it can be launched. I am unsure if the above goals are considered too ambitious, but I hope it gives a good general direction for TeamSingapore. This is currently handled by myself only, so things might take some time to get started. Overall, I would really appreciate any input or recommendations on the direction to take, and if any members would like to help out with the account as well!
I'm sure there are many of us who have already approached friends and family to encourage them to check out this community, but they are still on the sidelines. This platform and crypto currency in general are getting more mainstream, but the average Singaporean tends to take some time to warm up to new technology and initiatives, so let's continue to do our best, and help any new members if they do decide to come on eventually!
