Hey guys n gals.
So my story starts like most #Steemians, a long time Bitcoin lurker and lover of crypto. . .
I registered a #steemit account about 2 months ago and posted a joke site I made but nobody really saw it, and so I left Steem and carried on with my daily grind. (Which mostly consists of applying to Simple website jobs on upwork for 10$ per hour) I am South African so that is ok for me and more #money than most people here earn.
Short history
I studied music and quickly realized there was no money in it. In 2013 Bitcoin saved my life and after mining and subsequently trading I was able to leave busking in clubs for money to being able to not worry about my immediate future and start thinking about my life and the possibilities the world had to offer aside from music. Bitcoin taught me the value of money, the value of working hard and the value of myself. After making and losing quite a lot on trading over the last few years I decided it was about time to learn a new skill and so started coding.
A new brave world
I knew I had enough money saved to get me through 6 months and working hard I could make that work. After 3 months of diligent work on sites like code academy and Udacity I was comfortable enough to start working some small jobs on upwork.
This was about a year ago today. So now I am happily earning a small some doing web design and still studying in the evenings.
So now that you up to date.
The joke site was about a New World Order DAO and is kinda ironic now that Eth is a kind of oligarchy... But that's another story. If anyone wants read about the site I made you can read about it here: https://steemit.com/dao/@worstdevever/my-take-on-all-these-daos-and-what-the-future-icos-will-look-like . Long story short the Eth community did not find it #funny and it was soon Downvoted into oblivion on reddit.
Here is what the site looks like :
Back to the STEEM
For the last few weeks I have been pushed into a real Front End Dev roll building out a site for a pretty big network but I have also been expected to do infographics and other #webdesign things for them and so I thought I would take some of the best "stat" and "#analytics" stories on steem and create infographics for them that both promo steam and make these high quality posts more valuable.
I hope some of the articles will even be updated with my info graphics in them.. That would be cool.
Here are some of them earning a few cents :
Anyhoo..
thought I would give an intro post as I have done a few other posts without saying who I was.
So HEY, HELLO, Hoe gaan dit? BONJOUR, HOLA, GUTEN TAG, CIAO, OLÀ, NAMASTE and SALAAM my fellow Steemians.
If you want to see some more shiny info graphics check out my latest posts :
