So, I've been told that it is considered good form to introduce myself in my first post. I never know how to describe myself...
You can call me Vann. I'm in my early 30's, AFAB, I identify as non-binary/androgynous/gender fluid, but I usually just stick with the term gender-queer bc that encompasses everything regardless of where I am on the spectrum that day.
Speaking of spectrums, I also fall somewhere on the autism spectrum, something that I have just recently learned about myself.
I am in my senior year of my bachelor's degree, majoring in psychology and criminal justice. I absolutely love college, although it is killing me.
I'm super excited to be adopting a minimalist lifestyle (I'm writing this surrounded by heaps of clothing waiting to be donated) and am moving into a tiny studio apartment, this week actually.
I've played around with vegetarianism on and off for years, but I think I've settled comfortably into a mostly pescatarian diet. I'll write more about that later.
I've been in a poly relationship for the past 2 years and I have never been happier.
In addition to being on the spectrum, I also deal with PTSD. I have a service dog (Pupper) and he is wonderful, and absolutely my best buddy. I also have a cat (Catto) who thinks that she is in charge of everything. They are still learning to get along. :)
So, my plans are to document the process of downsizing and moving into a studio, and learning to live minimally. I'll also be discussing mental health, my pursuit of androgyny, LGBTQIA issues, poly dating, eating healthy on a budget, and life as a college student in my 30's.
If anything you've read interests you, give me a follow. :)
See you around!
