Dried mango is my favorite candied fruit. Philippines, being tropical, has an abundant supply of mangoes year-round. It's because of the surplus supply that Filipinos started drying and dehydrating mangoes to turn them into dried mangoes. We are known to export this product to other countries that do not have mangoes like Japan and many others.
This candied mango is sweet yet a bit sour in the inside and most of all, it's chewy. It's fat-free and nutritious, too. This can be an appetizer or a snack. Adults love this sweet treat just as much as kids do.
