This is my twenty-first post for the challenge set my to make sure we keep running: #fiftyrunstillmay. Since I hit 50 runs last week I've decided to continue the challenge and see how many I can do to May. It's been slow going because of my Achilles injury, but still something I would not be able to go without.
I've done two runs this week... both of them in my backyard here in Stellenbosch. On Monday I did my normal after-work stress relief run with my trail puppy Spokie (aka Ghost). We did a quick loop past the old hut ruins.
On Saturday I did a longer run. I decided to do a chilled 10km up and down and the weather was nice and cooler. It did not make for epic photos, but the scenery here never disappoint.
Interesting enough, the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup was held on my local trails and I saw a bit of action during my run. I was also forced to take a detour via a little swamp and my new trail shoes finally got some proper mud on them. ;)
Here are some of my favourite photos from this week, let me know what you think?
