After a long summer doing kids camp and running our by donation Coffee House I was feeling a little tired. After doing BBQ Outreaches for 21 years I thought are these really making a difference. After yesterday I was reminded that YES they do make a difference in kids lives. As I showed up after being away for a monthish, The kids ran up with big smiles,helping me set up. One 7 year old said in a sad voice " we thought you were never coming back" as my heart melted I knew to continue for many more years. What a great day I had. Enjoy a few pics from the outreach and be encouraged. Kids sure like chalk, lol.
