A lot of people are too serious about life. They take life too serious that they miss out on all the good things about life. They feel life has to be hard.
Life doesn’t have to be hard, we only make life hard for ourselves by being rigid and not being flexible in our approach.
We complicate things for ourselves because we have an archaic view of how life is supposed to be. Life doesn’t come with a manual, so we all learn as we go on living.
Don’t take life too serious, you can’t get out of it alive.
I am not saying you don’t have to have a good approach or take life seriously. I am of the opinion that life won’t give you what you deserve sometimes but what you demand, but a little bit of fun, a little bit of consideration, a little bit of risk, a little bit of enjoyment doesn’t help.
All these things shape our experiences in life. You have to live for something and whatever you live for should be able to lead you to a desirable end, whereby you can look back at the life and say: “I came, I saw, and I conquered”.
Life is all about that balance, so get the best out of life. Have fun, dare the impossible, set a target, make a “to do list”, scribble down a “bucket list” of the things you want to achieve before passing to the other side. Life is meant to be lived.
Life is about living. There are many people who are alive but not living. They have no purpose, they have no sense of direction, they have no motivation whatsoever. They wake up with no sense of obligation and they watch life pass them by. They are a secondary character in their life’s story. They see no purpose in life and they only exist but not living.
