What a good response and learning from a disappointing experience.
Once upon a time I had a great idea for a small business. This was before home computers and long before the Internet. I bought all the things I would need and it added up to right around $1,000. I did all of that before I did a lick of market research. When I did, I found out there was no need for that kind of business in my area. I look at that as my $1,000 business education. Far cheaper than college courses would have been. And my next business idea was very successful. I haven't thought about that for a very long time! And I still think it was totally worth while.
