If you ever fuck up a recipe and it is still edible, just make it into tacos. Seriously. I have done this many times before and it saves you from throwing out a meal you might not finish and/or suffering through a sub-par meal.
Recently, I messed up a lentil, kale, sweet potato soup. The first time I made it perfect, but then the second time I tried to double it AND add new ingredients from another recipe—I know! I was being wild reckless with my recipe-cooking.
It tasted fine but the consistency/texture was not “soupy.” And I had so goddamn much of it too. Soooo, since I have made lentil tacos before, it was a natural move. Added some taco seasoning, removed the remaining water in a skillet and voila! Lentil, kale, and sweet potato tacos!
But let’s face it, if you add some on-point seasoning (the stickiest of the icky), buckets of cheese, and globs of sour cream inside a beautifully crunchy & toasted taco shell—almost anything will taste better...well hopefully El Autor aka The Renegade Social Worker aka Posh Gibson ~*From my book #FreeCornbread >> https://www.amazon.com/FreeCornbread-Posh-Gibson/dp/1542934044/
