A Light And Delicious Breakfast In Yaffa Israel

One of the biggest differences in Western and Eastern thought show up at the breakfast table. Breakfasts are much lighter in the East. I remember growing up, as a child, in America always believing that we should start the day with a hearty breakfast. Not so in the east. Breakfast is just that, breaking the fast. The one pictured is quite common, some fresh fruit, hot delicious bread fresh from the oven, and fresh butter. Top it all off with coffee or tea. What a delicious start to the day.

The only thing better than a delicious breakfast, is to be able to eat while gazing out on the Yaffa harbor.  A wonderful start to a wonderful day. The sun is shinning bright, as we prepare ourselves for another wonderful day in the Holy Land.
