Hi everyone!
I'm lucky enough to live close to one of the most wonderful place in the World, the Amalfi Coast. Today I'm showing you the first of the little towns that make up this heavenly strip of land (and sea): Vietri sul Mare.
I won't talk too much, I'll make the photos talk for me.
It's situated right after the big city of Salerno and before Cetara. In summer, I usually catch a train in the morning with my friends, direction Salerno; once here, we take a bus that gets us here.
Here's where the bus leaves us, just outside a wonderful pottery factory (Vietri is one of the most important centre for pottery in the world):
These are their works:
Once there, there is a maze of little narrow streets, really characteristic full of small shops and restaurants; that's the view until you get to the beach:
That's the nature you can encounter:
We're in the South of Italy, so THAT's the quality of food you'll find here:
This a zeppola, fried batter with sugar:
And this is a traditional plate of spaghetti with clams:
So, what do you think of Vietri? Let me know in the comments! If you liked, please upvote, resteem and follow me!
