Well, scientists suggest that this is indeed possible!
If we eat a lot of foods that release glucose very quickly (like white bread, soda, anything with lots of sugar really...) we may have a short spike of energy, but end up feeling worse and more exhausted after.
So it's better to eat more fruits and nuts throughout the day, and eat more but smaller portions, so that you have a constant flow of energy keeping you awake and productive !
