When the SHTF, a lot of people are going to see the light, and a lot will find their way into graves. Maybe after such a catastrophe we'll be trustworthy again.
I have been reminded of an old Chinese Adage, though i can't find the correct wordings for it, that i believe has roots in Taoism. The adage basically says "Initially the world is peaceful, only by deeds of mediocre men/women is chaos caused."
As you guys say, we have to step back and get connected with real life, real people, who are accountable and hold themselves with integrity. Yet this is not a world of integrity, though this virtue still exists.
Probably there's nothing we can do now to change the course of things. Better to keep to the center, dodge out the way of all drama and unnecessary heartache, keep low key and navigate life with caution.
