This year didn't start very well for me, I had made a decision to stop posting but after chatting to a couple of people on here 
Its my hubby's 53th birthday today plus our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Yeah we got married on hubbys birthday so he wouldn't forget our anniversaries. We decided to go out for a meal, Me, hubby, Nichola, Hubby's mum and his aunty went to Mambos wine and dine restaurant. We have been wanting to go there for a while but heard it was pricey so left it for a celebration night, such as tonight.
Mambos is a large Italian restaurant, there are so many tables, plenty of room and good decor. We were lead to our table, we started off ordering a few Cocktails.
The above were mine and Nicholas's drinks, I had a French Martini - Absolut Vanilla Vodka, Chambord Pineapple Juice & Champagne Brut. Nichola had a Cinque Terre - Absolut Raspberry Vodka, Peach & Hibicus Gin, Lemon Puree topped with lemonade. I wasn't impressed with mine whilst Nicholas was very nice.
We then ordered our food, Nichola doesn't have much choice with being Vegetarian she had her usual pasta dish, I'm a Pescatarian, I had Smoked Salmon with a Lobster Bisque Sauce, whilst hubby had a Hanging Mixed Kebab, we weren't impressed as they were small portions with only vegetables as side dishes.
We did have a good chat and a good laugh. When we were leaving they sat a group of young men in the table behind us, they were so loud that I was glad to be leaving as after a few drinks they were bound to get louder.
It was time to drop his aunty off first then his mum then home. I was glad to get home as was sleepy and it was freezing outside. I got straight into a pair of clean pyjamas then sat down for a couple of hours before bedtime.
Can't believe me and hubby have been married for 30 years, looking back it seems to have flown over. Where did all the time go. A 30th wedding is the year for Pearl, I don't like Pearls instead I will buy a Pearl soap instead of the real thing. Its only £1.25 for 4 blocks.
That's another day over another couple of milestones celebrated 🍾 now I am going to bed to rest as I'm shattered and everything is hurting so medication time. Night.
