Me and my friend headed over to Pavilion today to pick up some items that we have ordered, and decided to wonder around KL for abit. We wanted to look for something to eat, and my friend suggested us to go to the Pudu Wai Sek Kai, which was quite near where we originally were.
We arrived at the Pudu Wai Sek Kai and my friend recommended to try out their Salted Egg Kuay Teow Mee, apparently being one of the better foods that could be found in the street. So naturally, I ordered myself a plate of it, which didn’t really cost me much; as a matter of fact, only RM6.
They kuay teow was fried in a chinese style (dry version), and the noodles were really smooth. I can feel the yolk being cooked into the kuay teow, which made it really juicy. It was also my first time trying out Kuay Teow fried with salted eggs.
I would definitely recommend those who come to Pudu Wai Sek Kai to try this stall out, quite different of an approach to the traditional Kuay Teow!
