Saturday beers!!
When on holiday what better time to check out the local craft beer situation! Not the barren wasteland I had worried about, there are loads here!!
What do we have?
This is a meaty one and no mistake. Full of fizz and a delicious bitterness. To check the colour I had to pour a wee bit out. This being a breach of etiquette that will have my grandad rising from the grave with vengeance in his heart. But, I don't have my usual beer glass.
Gloriously golden with a bit of a bite. Mmm me beachy lovey!!
Next up.
This one fascinates me, rosemary? Will it taste like medicine? No! It's smashing. I mean the rosemary is plentiful but it's an amber spicy herby blessing of a beer!! Wow, it's really awesome. It's a Cha-Ching in the sunset!
Which brings me to one I had been saving. I have tried it before so know it is good. The hippy hippy shake that is...
The bottle is funky as feck. The only slight downside is that it is actually brewed in Germany and not locally. But hey! We all know how good German beer is! It's also bizarrely a metal bottle?!
It's a bit of a white/wheat beer. Very light on the palate but with a loveliness comprising of zing and sweet crispness. It's a great beer for the beach!!
By now I am a bit squiffy. Can you tell?
Might I say that doing a beer review on the beach is one of the coolest and most serene things I have ever done. Thank you steemit!
I have a couple more of each one and have a pass from the good lady tonight. Will I end up having a bit of footy with the locals or just plain fall in the sea?
I will let you know!!
Cheers!!!
