Hot doodahs! It's beer day, I mean Saturday! This is my last Saturday as a free man before returning to the servitude of the worker drone. As a result I am going to employ some sophisticated coping techniques.
That's right, I am going to get drunk!! I mean, slightly tipsy! ;0)
What do we have then? Two fine young plucky ma jibs.
Forgive the pumpkins. I love them so much I haven't thrown them up the back of the garden yet.
This one is from the Adnams brewery in the south of England. 6.7 of them alcohols in it. A sturdy fellow! I have never tried anything from this brewery so interested to see what is what!
Pours like a charm with a robust head. An amber gold colour. Looks fab.
Tastes good, nice long hoppy finish. Caramel hints and some hint of spice at the back of the throat. It has a nice lingering beerness which I especially like. Despite it's strength it is the type of beer you would be keen to have a healthy few of. A resounding 7.5/10
And next, something tarty?
The Fierce Brewery present what hopefully is another top donker of a beer. In the past they have produced some stonking ales. Can they keep up their run? It's only 4.5% so if it's magnificent I can have another 9 of them!
Look at that lovely vision of loveliness! It's lovely! It's a beautiful cloudy gold. The aroma is totally tangerine. It smells amazing and looks the part too.
AAAARRGH!! It's TART!! It is so tart... Wait, after the initial blast of tart-ness it's... It's...
It's really sour, it's really tart but it tastes smashing. You can taste the beer, the tangerine and the sour tartness and it all combine into a lovely mouthgasm. Can't stop drinking it. 9/10!!
Well I am having a great time. I hope you are too, especially all you chaps at Steemfest!!
Cheers!
