Someone give me a shake, it's Saturday! The day where deadly beers fall from the sky as if by magic and fine beer warriors such as myself stride the bottle strewn earth drinking them as they land all in the name of saving mankind!!
It's a tough gig but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for you guys.
So what puissant and magical beers have fallen into my lap this week?
Summery beers. Beers fit for an evening in the sun. Light giggly beers that put a humple in your gib!
First a beer from Brewdog!
We don't get many of them round here because a lot of their stuff is commercialised twoddle but that doesn't mean I'm not willing to give them a bash. After all, they are the ones behind Elvis Juice which is great.
Good grief. That looks awesome. Such a pale and delicate gold. It reminds me of the time I peed in my flatmates butter. Ah good times. Fine and fizzy looking head. My juices are flowing in anticipation!
I don't mind admitting it, I had low expectations for this one but it's magic. Packed to the brim with grapefruit and tangerine juicy goodness and a pleasant little hoppy kick on the aftertaste. A pleasantly surprising 8/10 booms!!
I'm almost reluctant to move on. But move on I must.
Next up we have the intriguing Prospero and Sycorax, from my favourite brewery, Tempest!
This is a collaboration beer between the good old Tempest and Dead End Brew Machine, who I have never heard of before.
Here hoping that isn't a bad thing!
So enough of me and my scratchy knickers.

It looks like the flanks of a burning golden goose lost in the mist. Hazy, yellowy, sunny looking joy. This is a good sign if you ask me! No head. No problem!
Goodness, that was a delight. A biscuit hop with a lingering apricot in the mouth. It's very beery but very deliciously fruity. So adult!
From opposite ends of the scale and yet I will give this one an 8/10 booms too. Hurrah!
My beer evening was a little earlier than normal because I am actually going out in real life tonight!? On the sauce. Beer hunting with the inestimable
