Eating healthy and living healthy has been a huge part of my lifestyle for the past 5 years especially. I decided roughly about 5 years ago to change my lifestyle and the way I ate for the better.
I decided to make a change and started a new way which included giving up alcohol and changing my diet for something less destructive. I stopped drinking and started eating as fresh as I could.

I now grow my own vegetables and herbs, spinach, potatoes, tomatoes, gem squash, avo, naaitjie/tangerines, lime, and more as well as a range of herbs, and hardly ever buy any from the shops. I have also reduced quantities of food
I run around 5-10km at least 3-4 times a week. These actions have dramatically changed my health for the better.

My dog George keeps me motivated as he is the best running buddy I could have asked for. Being out on a run in nature in forest and crossing rivers is not only good for the body but also the mind.
My body no longer craves all the unhealthy options and in fact I feel ill when I try to go back to the way I used to eat. I found that I do not need to deprive myself of anything as long as I do it all in moderation and a small degree of consideration for what I put in my body. All is good.
I feel lighter and more alert mentally and my entire mood is positive and vibrant.
Just one thing I wish and that is that I had made the changes a long time ago.
Happy Wednesday everyone. Find the beauty.
