When we say someone is ideal what do we mean.
In my own words, an ideal man should be a thinkable man, I mean a rational being. He should be guided by his self esteem. He shouldn't also act thoughtlessly.
In Ayn Rand's words;
I want to see, real, living, and in the hours of my own days, that glory I create as an illusion! I want it real! I want to know that there is someone, somewhere, who wants it too! Or else what is the use of seeing it and working, burning oneself for an impossible vision? A spirit, too, needs fuel. It can run dry.
Ayn Rand, Ideal like
I have gotten to like Ayn Rands words and books because of her theory Objectivism. Upon watching her videos on YouTube Ayn Rand says;
The only concern man should have for other men is the respect of their rights and man should never expect another man to sacrifice himself for him nor should he sacrifice himself for other men.
Here is a video of her interview with James Day.
