Having just completed Yoga With Adriene 30 Days of Yoga, I wanted to share with everyone how fantastic I found it. I have written about Adriene Mishler’s online yoga platform before, and my feelings about this yoga instructor haven’t changed; Adriene makes learning yoga easy and fun. Her 30 days program can be modified for beginners or those with a little more practice under their belts.
Unlike other 30 day fitness programs on the internet, 30 Days of Yoga is not a challenge, but an intention. An intention to begin or deepen your practice with a commitment to get on your mat daily. And showing up on the mat is surprisingly easy when you don’t have to sift through thousands of yoga videos and you know your practice is not going to exceed 30 minutes.
I am no stranger to yoga, but I’m no expert either. At the end of Adriene’s 30 day program, I found a significant increase in my flexibility, strength, and balance. I also managed to excel at certain challenging postures that had previously been beyond my grasp.
I would certainly recommend 30 Days of Yoga to anyone who wants to build their home yoga practice in a fun and easy way, with a personable, knowledgeable guide. If you do try this program out and find yourself wanting more, Adriene begins each year with a 30 day challenge and the videos are available here, here, and here
