October 1st, 2020 edit: Screw this whole post, I'm
restarting
.
I'm making a huge change in my life, starting right now.
I listed 25 things that I wanted to do currently and selected only 5 important ones from them.
The game is, you cannot at all put any attention towards those other 20 things.
One of those 5 things was: to write here.
crowd in the back boos
This means no more Blender, no more Japanese (for now.)
This is significant
Because Blender was something I thought I'd dedicate this whole HIVE profile to. Japanese was something I'd been working on for the past millions of years.
To leave them just like that? I would have never imagined doing this, until I came across this article.
I'm done wasting my time and not knowing where to direct my attention
I'd been feeling like somebody was constantly strangling me, I'm guessing, because I'd been working on something which didn't mean much to me anymore (Japanese)
I was too focused imagining a day when I'd be making money being a Japanese translator.
Meanwhile, there were interests that interested me more.
5 things I'm working on NOW
10 July 2020
- Make cha-ching on HIVE
- Learn to be comfortable with people
- Learn everything by reading all the books at the library
- Make smartphone apps
Be a great gamer
28 July 2020
- Make a hilarious animation in Blender
1 August 2020
- Screw all that stuff I wrote about 5 things, not gaming and all
- First fix sleep (goal: 4 AM)
- Then, keep themed days in the week:
| Day | Stuff |
|---|---|
| Monday | Blender |
| Tuesday | Coding |
| Wednesday | Reading |
| Thursday | Gaming |
| Friday | Japanese |
| Saturday | Anime & Movie |
| Sunday | Something different |
This system is best for someone like me who doesn't want to commit to just one activity forever, and is able to focus and stick with the task better if the days aren't bread-crumbed into different activities. I don't like looking at the clock every hour. I like melting into the activity and let time pass at its own pace. And doing varied stuff everyday.
