So, yesterday the skies opened up and turned bright blue! The temperature warmed right up...just in time for my lunch break!
I know I write a lot about my lunch break...but, as a working mom...it really is the only time I get just for me!
Anyway...it was too soggy to walk on the beach...so I decided to take a stroll around the area I work in! There aren’t any sidewalks in the immediate area...so it was a bit of an adventure!
I trekked around the mucky terrain...trying to avoid cars and puddles. I actually ventured down a road I didn’t even know existed! I passed offices and buildings that i had never seen.
I tried to take all the scenery in! It’s always beautifu after a springtime shower! The flowers are bright having quenched their thirst in the evening prior! The sun shines bright off the dewey leaves and puddles glisten!
I got some good exercise and I even found a trail that I saved for another day!
That will be my next adventure!
