We have a deep sense of appreciation for the skepticism and the points you bring up are valid ones. Honestly the issues of "taking over a tag" are a weird area. We're not taking over a tag and anyone could post whatever they want in that tag. We simply can moderate what gets shown through to our interface. This is an issue that has hit many tags spanning a variety of different topics. One valid argument against this is that users who normally use the tag and use the tag for "relevant content" to that tribe or niche topic will recieve additional rewards to whatever they were making before, they will not receive any fewer rewards though as moderation accounts don't hold any STEEM POWER (or very trace amounts for RCS only).
"obscene language"? This is a commonly used phrase across the blockchain in reference to abuse of the pool. I can see where you're coming from, but this is almost like "steem slang".. Especially with HF21 coming, this phrase gets thrown around all over the place. As I said, I can see where you're coming from so in the rare case of some non-steemian reading this, I changed the wording.
Your criticism is taken very seriously and we are truly trying to build something here. We will work tirelessly to prove the skeptics wrong, but as the post said this only can be done through actions, not words. We could debate it all day but we will instead continue to build our community and let that speak for itself.
