When I was little, our family of 10 allowed the birthday child to pick their favorite dinner. My choice - liver. I loved it.
And even though I wanted it for every birthday dinner, I only chose it once. My sister was absolutely disgusted by my choice. I succumbed to sibling pressure.
Then, after the birth of my kids, I became vegetarian and for years I went without my beloved liver.
I don't know where you stand on this tasty organ, but now that I've become an advocate of grass-fed meat, good healthy fats, and my mainstay of organic veggies, I'm back to enjoying liver again.
And here in Chicago, I get grass-fed, grass-finished liver delivered fresh from the farm right to my door.
Their cows aren't getting harmful EMFs from power lines or wind farms.
Just good old fashioned liver the way my mom used to make.
And oh how good it is! Complete with broccoli and grass-fed ghee.
