I went out for a run yesterday and the park was a mess after last week’s 12 inches of rain. It was more like a “Tough Mudder” than my normal trail runs. But I stopped at the little creek pictured below and used the Slow Shutter app on my iPhone X to capture it in a long exposure. I set it on eight second exposure and tried to steady the camera on the rail of a little bridge that the creek runs under.
Here’s another exposure in close up.
And here’s a sample of what the rains have done to one of my favorite trails. Large healthy trees are just falling over on the sides of hills and streams where the ground is saturated.
But it was nice to get out in the woods again. For the #runningproject, here are my run stats.
Have a great week everyone.
