Chocolate, teddy bears, roses all set. Wait, let's not forget fine wine and music. What about dinner or a bubble bath? Candle light dinner or lunch? Or should I just give her that gift she has been hoping for? Let's just pop the question already, it's about time 😉.Â
But....Â
What if i can't do any of these right now? I cannot afford that fancy restaurant or gift. I do not even know what she really wants. Hmm... Â I really don't want to do this, but I don't want to let her down. If you are this guy, Â I have a solution for you!
Personally, I feel Valentine's day is overrated (that is a story for another day).  But if you are the one who loves it or your significant other can't wait for that day and you are on a budget or you really don't have the cash or maybe you don't really care about it but 'anything for bae'.  I have some helpful tips that could help you 😉.
Let's get one thing straight first, it isn't just about the gifts. Lots of guys have this notion that once you get the gift, Â she's happy. Â No brother, we can tell when your heart isn't with it . It's really the little things that matter the most. Â Don't get a gift if you are going to zoom out and be with the 'boys' after you give it. Okay, Â so down to business...
- Make Her favorite food : If bae is like me who loves food, this is for you.  You don't have to spend so much on this and break your head. Trust me, it would mean  a lot to her. Package it well too and add a little note. The way to some ladies heart is her stomach too,  you know? 😉
- Compile a list of her favorite songs : You can make a list of her favorite songs and play it to her while you guys dance or listen to it.  Even if  are a horrible dancer, you'll make her day because you made the effort. There's nothing as woman loves more than making effort. Â
- Cook Together : You don't have to do a feast, but there's nothing like a couple who cooks together. A simple meal would be worth it and it brings you closer to her too.
- Give her a massage or a foot rub : You don't have to pay for her to go to the spa. You can be her special masseur on that day. Or give her a foot rub while you tell her how much you love her and adore her.Â
- Take her for a walk : And a very romantic one. Â Hold hands with her all the time and talk about the time you first met her. Â You could also sing to her in front of everyone if she's not the shy type.Â
- Write her a love letter : I remember when love letters used to be the thing. Take her back in time. Write her something beautiful, all the words you can't say to her face. Â We get so caught up with social media that we forget these things.Â
- Make her a scrapbook : Believe me, Â it's fun. Â Gather all the fun and not so fun memories that you have. Â It's going to be awesome because she can look back at it everytime.Â
- Re create the first time you met  : This is cute.  Really introduce yourself to her.  Make her remember why she was interested in you in the beginning.  This brings back beautiful memories.Â
- Run errands : I know this might sound weird or crazy but it's nice. Â Don't let her stress about anything. Go for groceries, clean the house, do laundry, the dishes. Â It's super thoughtful.
- Watch a movie at home : You can spend the evening with her, Â watching her favorite movies. It doesn't cost a thing. Â
So, that's all I have right now, but I'll let you know if any other idea pops up.  Enjoy Valentine's Day and remember it's not all about the gifts.  💕
