I was in a car somewhere when l had to make a double turn in order to be so sure of what l saw when passed by. These kids stood along the road making some selling as seen in many places here in Ghana. There are lots of children on the streets of Ghana who help their parents in selling items they are into. Most especially those in the rural areas of Ghana. This is one l found today in a village l passed. They had in their palm these mushrooms and others snails they were selling. The mushroom caught my attention which l had to get back to get myself one.
These mushrooms look so good and attractive which l couldnt wait to buy one. Interestingly, they gave a very bad price cos l thought it would be more expensive than l thought. I had to pay more than they asked too.lol. You really cannot resist the taste of African mushroom especially Ghana. They look so good with palmnut soup. I love mushrooms considering all of its nutitional benefits. I hope you try one sometime.
These snails too came along with a very good price. I barely take snails but l had to buy one for my grandmother home as well. I wanted to make the kids with these snails to have some bought too.. How often do you take snails? I think it only looks good with soup. Havent tried snails with stew or any other meal too.
This is the beauty of african commodities we always speak about. Almost every street of Ghana has a marketting scene. I do this today in the name of #marketfriday initiated by . It has always been so much fun embracing the weekend with Denise on #marketfriday. Lets have a great weekend and enjoy in moderation. TGIF.
