Thanks for responding to my comment.
All in all:
- I hope a budget is thought of and the marketing efforts are mainly funded by Inc. not only through the work of Steemians and the steem daily reward pool (e.g. proposed projects get voted upon by big guys and that's the reward they get for their efforts)
- It doesn't necessarily need to be made public, but for the sake of transparency, intended investments need to (e.g. Apps Crowdsourcing will have a pool of x steem for rewards etc.)
We need to be careful with this, because there's the tendency for crowds to think 'have money, USE MONEY', which leads to wasted funds.
If stake based voting is involved in choosing where the funds go I guess the use money part comes with a responsibility. Off course each choice will be trolled (as usual).
Which is precisely why we're focused on getting the protocols right.
Building the battle plan is a big part of getting it right, but that can't go on forever and actions are needed to sustain the faith in the plan. For ex. I'm having a hard time trusting Synereo simply because they're taking years to come up with the technology they keep talking (and talking) about and has made me stay away from buying AMPs.
