Yesterday I went to see a naprapathic doctor. An experienced practitioner who treats sports injuries and works with the local soccer team. He treated me for a back problem and after a while touched on the subject of mindfulness. I told him I'm currently writing a book on mindfulness.
"There should be a massage table in every home" he said. My curiosity raised as I listened to what he was saying.
"Elderly people should do massage on each other. And couples should spend an hour every day massaging each other. With candles and soft music. It is easy, buy a book on massage and you are good to go. It would make a huge difference for people."
"That's what I'm doing!", I replied. "I'm writing a book about mindfulness and touch and happy relationships." We continued to elaborate on the subject and he wholeheartedly encouraged me to continue my work.
Afterwards I was very happy and realised how important it is to meet with people who believe in your ideas.
