Ingredients:-
- 1 pound asparagus.
- 1/3 cup plus.
- 1 tsp olive oil.
- 1/4 cup marcona almonds.
- 1 vlove garlic.
- 1 tsp lemon juice.
- 1/2 tsp salt.
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg.
- 2 tbsp gouda cheese.
- 1 pound uncooked pasta.

Method:-
MAKES 6 SERVINGS.
Heat grill to medium heat. Place asparagus in large bowl. Drizzle with 1 tsp olive oil. Grill 5 to 10 minutes. Let cool slightly.
Cut asparagus into pieces. Place asparagus, almonds, garlic, lemon juice, salt and nutmeg in a blender. Blend on speed. Add remaining olive oil, 2 tsp at a time. Pulsing once or twice until pesto just begins to blend.
Transfer pesto to large bowl, stir in gouda.
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain pasta, reserving 1/2 cup cooking water. Add to pesto tossing to coat and adding cooking wateras needed for desired consistency.
Pasta is ready.
Serve immediately with additional gouda.
