Chandaragiri hills lies in southwest of kathmandu valley and 2551 m above sea levels. Soaring peaks and breath taking views of whole kathmandu valley is seen from here.The panoramic views of kathmandu valley and himalyan range from Annapurana to Everest makes everyone seeing whole Nepal from a single place and worth of visiting this place.Here transportation is done from roadways upto reaching here and then one of the beautiful and adventurous thing Cable Car (Rope Way) is used to going upto the hills and then returning.
Mythological Significance and History
Here a beautiful temple is present called as BHALESHWOR MAHADEV . It is believed that temple is formed due to the Shiva carrying his beloved one's Satidevi all around the world and one of the body parts fall in this place due to decaying afterwards this temple is formed .
Everybody coming here believed that wroshiping BHALESHWOR MAHADEV fulfills their wish and they found peace in them.
Is carries historical aspects as well ,one of the leader of Nepal's Unification Campaigner Prithvi Narayen Shah first time sees Kathmandu valley from here and he is owe due to its scenario and then conquer all over Nepal and make it as capital city of Nepal.

SAARC:One way NRs.664 and bothway NRS.1120
Others:One way 13 usd and bothway 22usd.
There is discount policy for children,widow,old people adn disable one's.
Note: You are not allowed to carry food and beverages in cable car.
