Yep! It's that time of the month again! Time for my somewhat obligatory monthly report which is also a good time to look back to what I have done during the past month while showing off some of my so-called "little" progress.

Well this might probably be the last time where my Steem Power increase for a month is over 100. T_T
For the month of August, my Steem Power increase (from author and curation rewards) is 119! Last year, almost all my author and curation rewards were being powered up since I really believe that Steem will succeed but looking at it this year, I'm honestly not keeping my expectations up anymore. XD
If HardFork20 killed the majority of newbies (or accounts with little-to-no SP) for the sake of getting rid of spam, I personally think that HardFork 21 will sooner or later kill contents. Most of those who support the 50/50 author/curator split claims that the change will likely encourage people to curate more blog posts but for some reason I just can't help doubting those with decent-to-huge stakes (the orcas/whales) to actually read and curate strangers blog posts especially with accounts with low reputations. XD
I have already read some "Goodbye Steem" blog posts from people I follow here and I do get what they are feeling. I have been on Steem for 21 months now and for the first time in the 19 months of consistent blogging and posting without missing even a single day (well except for that day where HF20 was released since Steem was down for over a day), I have never feel unmotivated and lazy since HF21 was released. XD
I still don't have any plans of leaving Steem though nor initiate a power-down but really considering putting all my attention to SteemMonsters as it is the only thing left that makes Steem interesting for me.
