Good morning, my Steemit friends. Greetings from Singapore. πΈπ¬
I am reading interesting topic on Mindfulness. Here's the source I am going to share with you.
In Japan, free time and space are perceived as the vaild interval or meaningful pause. Such this perception is basic to all experience and specifically to what constitutes creativity and freedom.
Pause is the prerequisite for wonder. When we don't pause when we are perpetually hurrying from one appointment to another, from one "planned activity" to another, sacrificing the richness of wonder.
Dedicate some time today to pause in your routine. During this pause, try to take your stock, to relax, to empty your mind - to do anything mentally that is different from the routine. Note how the fullness of this silent moment refocuses your attention afterwards.
Could you permanently alter your routine to allow for your pause moments? How might these pauses help you to become more aware on a daily basis?
