As the weather was not that fine today, we also made the interior lighting for the farm (see here).
For that we just bought a 3V LED chain with 10 LED for about 2 or 3 Euro. You can buy similar things on amazon for about 6 Euro. Then I cut the cables and mounted them on the distributor connectors (see here).
Of course you can also buy original LEDs intended for model train layouts. But I guess the result won't be much better:
