Hey steemians how you doing ? uhm in my previous post I peomised to talk about how to make the tiger nut milk well if your reading this post then you are lucky because in a few seconds you will learn how to make a perfect tiger nut milk without further ado lets delve right in ;
Imgredients
1.Tiger nuts :3 cups
2.Dates:12
3.coconuts:1 whole
4.ginger:small piece
5.Water
6.Blender
STEPS
1.Wash the tiger nuts and dates thoroughly to rinse off dirts and debris and soak in a bowl for 24hrs.
2.Break the coconut and bring out the white part and discard the shell, cut the white part into very small pieces.
3.After 24hrs by now your tiger nuts would have swollen or increased in size and the dates would have become soft , discard the water and then open the dates remove all the seeds do not forget to remove the seeds from the dates.
4.Bring your blender and put atleast 3 handfuls of the tiger nuts and some dates atleast 7 inside of it with a small piece of ginger optional just for an added flavour.
5.Plug your blender to a power outlet and add some cups of water not too much but just enough to go around the nuts.
6.Close the blender and switch it on allow to blend until a smooth texture is attained,more water can be added to reduce the friction and allow an easy blend.
7 Blend the the coconuts separately this is to give room for smooth blending .After which you can now mix the blended coconut with the blended nuts &dates.
8.Use a clean muslin or handkerchief or large fine sieve to sieve make sure you squeeze as hard as possible to bring out all the milk.
9 You can put the blend back into the blender add some water and blend, then sieve to extract more milk.
10.Refriegerate and serve chilled or warm your choice, it should last atleast 4-5 days if properly refriegerated
Now sit back relax and enjoy your milk.
