WOW, you managed to sit through the whole thing! I remember the days when I was a child, standard stuff for me back then, am talking 70s till mid 80s. Last few decades, I simply couldn't watch anymore. Some good songs and artists, but so much shit. I didn't even know more than that Italy won, and Belgium ending pretty low on the list. Am not from Belgium, but I know the band that represented that country. Though I didn't listen the all the 18 songs ending up higher than Hooverphonic (the Belgium one), I think this shows how pathetic Eurovision is. Hooverphonic is not only a well respected band, but they make excellent music!

What about Greece? That's one of the few countries you didn't mention, or maybe the only one :) Reason for asking is the fact the girl representing Greece is a fellow country citizen, she is Dutch :)
