In the united states of America, today was National Donut Day. Here are some places that are/were offering free donuts. Some of the stores are holding a donut giveaway all this week and have contests for a year supply of donuts.

Krispy Kreme: Was giving away a free donut, your choice during this week.
Dunkin Donuts: This was my favorite as a young man! I believe it was one of the first donut chains? Would have to complete further research. Feel free to add your thoughts/research in the comments below!
Tim Hortons: I have never heard of this place nor am I familiar with the chain. Therefore I can not speak towards their brand nor donut? They had a free donut giveaway today. As far as I know?
The Dough Bar: Another place I am unfamiliar with, however, you can order online and receive a 10% discount. Use the code NDD10WEEK from 1-7 of June. (I think?, not sure?) Spend $40.00 or more and they will send you a "Doughnut Worry" facial mask. Folks I possibly am unable to make this stuff up!
