Four specimens of the same species of coleoptera, belonging, I presume, to the Chrysomelidae family, one of the most abundant, rest on the withered petals of an Flor de Pascua (Easter flower), also known as Clavo Morado (Purple Clove), or by its scientific name, Monochaetum Humboldtianum. The photo was taken by me, early in the morning, in the area known as Lagunazo, at the beginning of the paramo or highlands of the Waraira Repano National Park, at north of Caracas, Venezuela.
