This ORANGE Energy Smoothie Recipe has a super, totally tropical and delicious taste that your children will LOVE - the ingredients have been chosen for both flavor and a boost of energy.
3/4 cup frozen pineapple cubes ( can be fresh if you have)
3/4 cup frozen mango cubes (can be fresh if you have)
3/4 cup 100% orange juice ( add at end)
1 banana
1 Tbsp chia seed
*Big handful of spinach ( this will make it go green)
* just add some icecubes to make it cold if you want
If you think your child will not like it because of the colour - leave out the spinach and just put in the orange juice. Blend together until smooth and creamy.
If using the spinach - blend ingrediants ( NOT THE SPINACH YET)
Put HALF of the orange mixture into glass (s)
NOW add the spinach to the othe 1/2 left in blender - blend
Blend until smooth.Pour over the orange mixture and enjoy :)
