OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 306th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

When I visit my in-laws, near Washington DC, I usually have my hands full. Not just with people, either — I have a large, extended family of nearly 20 nieces/ nephews and there’s always parties going on.

I’m talking about taking care of the animals. From the kitchen, you can see the large peacock 🦚 cage. I try to take them out for a walk to stretch their wings and grab a kiddie or two to help me put them back in their cages, afterwards, since the big birds don’t always cooperate. (Not that I’m blaming them; I’d prefer they slept up in a tree, if I could be sure a fox would not get them).

Today is my dad´s birthday, he would have been 95 years old this year. I asked my family back in the Manila to prepare something to celebrate his birthday which they did already. They also visited his grave the week before as well as the family members who passed-away before/after him.

For my part today I had an excellent day, I got up very early because I had to do many errands, which thanks to Heaven all were excellent besides being pleasantly surprised by nature. Today as I told you I was early doing errands, and means of transportation is a motorcycle 🏍️ I love it because we avoid much of the heavy traffic besides being faster and consumes less gas hehehehehe.

Hello everyone, in the last few weeks I have been a little busy with a lot of work that I have to do, so I can't go out to take some shots, both landscape photography and macrophotography.

But today I have a little time to adventure on the outskirts of the forest to look for some shots of insects.

We arrived one day before the official holiday started, so our first day consisted of lounging and adjusting. Fortunately, we were staying with Brazilian friends so we got a local verified tour of the city. We went to a local supermarket and caught a "taxi", which was really us riding on the back of a 1970's El Camino. Our host family made sure the driver took us the scenic route through the hills of Rio. The views were amazing.

I made this one for paper decoration. I made not only colored paper, but other useless books. I made flowers and branches using colored paper.I took some photos of how to do it. Also wrote how to do it. I had to fold a lot of paper rolls.In this one, one of them is made of vase and three folds of paper of the same size. Flowers is made by quilling paper folding.

I feel that my lungs are "overgrown with fat" again.

Yes, I understand that this is not a scientific expression.
Fat can cover my stomach or buttocks 😺
The reason is lying on the couch for a long time or sitting motionless in front of the computer.

Today he celebrated life, celebrated the blessings that come into my life every day, being able to breathe, having a wonderful family and having their unconditional love and support. He celebrated the life of my uncle and my cousin who also meet the same day as me, the family celebrates three times.
