I would like to stop caring, please. It's funny how brains work. They're just games. But I guess that's why they trigger my "but it's not faaaaair" reaction.
My wireless connection needed to be reset. But I didn't know because it looked like my opponent's timer was winding down. Finally their timer winds all the way down, and yet the game doesn't proceed, and that is when I am able to deduce that it was, in fact, that I was no longer connected to the internet.
Surely they could fix this. Surely the program could tell me that I was disconnected so I could reset with enough time to rejoin the game.
Listen, this isn't something that matters, but the things that matter matter too much, so instead, please feel the fearsome frustration that is unimportant things going wrong, ok?
I can't emphasize enough how much this doesn't matter.
