I recently visited Amsterdam. As I am a seafood lover, I wanted to get the best seafood in the city.
I picked The Seafood Bar:
It is centrally located in the Museum Quarter (Van Baerlestraat 5).
I immediately loved the atmosphere in the place. It was hectic (very crowded), but calm at the same time as the waitresses were very professional.
Their menu is extensive, I would not go into detail, but I ordered Fruits de Mer ‘Seafood Bar’, with a 47,5 Euro price tag. For me as a Norwegian this is ludicrous cheap, so thumbs up!
As you can see the plate is very well composed with a combination of cold crustaceans and shellfish.
Everything tasted extremely fresh. Their oysters were Ooh la la:)!
They obviously have good logistics and high turnover.
So, this is without no doubt the best seafood bar bar none I have been to thus far.
