The art of food photography offers an exploration of serving different foods than usual. Not only the arrangement in the background image, but also the arrangement of the texture of food in the plate itself.
This time we show you the results of photography from our kitchen, a typical Indonesian dessert called "Kolak Labu".
Usually, pumpkin in this sweet dish is served using dice-shaped pieces. However, this time we tried to present different things. We use pumpkins with round shapes.

Ingredients
- Pumpkin, 750 grams
- Brown Sugar, 150 gr
- Water, 1 liter
- Pandan Leaves, 2 sheets
- Coconut milk, 500 ml
- Vanilla powder, 1 tsp
- Salt, 1/2 tsp
Steps
- Cut into a round-shaped pumpkin, or according to your taste.
- Boil water with brown sugar, vanilla powder and pandan leaves until it boils.
- Add the pumpkin. Cook until half cooked.
- Add coconut milk and salt. Cook until boiling, stirring constantly.
- Remember, don't let the pumpkin be over-cooked because the texture will be broken.
- Raise, then serve. It can be served warm, or cold by putting it in the refrigerator before serving.
This pumpkin recipe with sweet soup is easy to make and is suitable to be served on a rainy day, or at your leisure time at night.
We serve the sweet sauce in a separate place so that later it can be splashed on pumpkin pieces according to the taste of the eater.
