This is Kampot's local market
This is the main arena where all the local farmers and fishermen, who make their livelihoods from the surrounding countryside, rivers and the ocean, come to sell their goods.
This is #organicfood in the real sense of the word...the wonderful vegetables and tropical fruits are brought here at daybreak plucked straight from the tree or dug from the earth. You'll find no pesticides or fertilisers used in these products.
The fishermen arrive on their old rickety wooden boats at 5 am and bring their catch straight to the market... As you will see... Some of them are still Alive!! You can't get fresher than that!
All of the methods used are completely sustainable, using techniques and methods handed down from father to son, generation after generation. So.. let's get in there, as I like to say, and check out these mouth-watering fresh produce...
