The last missing piece of our family has been returned to us tonight. Ella has been away for a few months. She had puppies and I couldn't have her raising them in the camper. It wouldn't have been safe. So some people worthy of #ophumanangels stepped in and took our Ella temporarily.
She has been so missed. She's nearly 3 years old and still such a puppy, so sweet and darling and gentle.
Ella was spayed today, all of her puppies weaned and adopted out by the rescue that took her in and fostered her.
He left, I brought her in and she wouldn't settle and lay down. She kept following me as I clean.
So I lay with her and loved on her and before I knew it I was ugly, can't breathe, sobbing.
She keeps groaning and shivering so she's covered with a blankie. Ella has always been a freeze baby.
Having her home, my sweet Ellie Bellie triggered such an overwhelming emotional release. We're together again. My baby is here. My whole family is back together.
We have a home. We are home. Months and months of homelessness are over. It's over.
